Privacy Policy

StockLearn Pro ("we", "us") is a stock market learning platform available on the web and as a mobile app. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: email address and full name provided at sign up.
• Profile information you choose to add: bio, qualification/degree, institute or college, education level and graduation year.
• Learning data: course enrolments, lesson and module completion, video watch time, article reading progress.
• Assessment data: quiz and exam attempts, scores and pass/fail results.
• Payment history: records of purchases made on the platform (amount, status, date).
• Technical data: basic device and log information generated when you use the service.

2. How we use your data

• To create and maintain your account and authenticate you.
• To deliver course content and remember where you left off.
• To show your progress, results, ranks and certificates.
• To process and record payments for paid content.
• To improve the platform and provide support when you contact us.

3. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in our Supabase project (Postgres database, authentication and file storage). Access is restricted by row-level security policies so that you can only read and modify your own records.

4. Data sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform:

• Supabase — database, authentication and storage hosting.
• Amazon Web Services (S3, MediaConvert, CloudFront) — video storage, transcoding and delivery.
• Cloudinary — media processing and delivery.
• Our payment processor — handling of payments; card details are handled by the processor and never stored by us.

We may also disclose data where required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period; after that period your account and all associated data (profile, progress, quiz/exam results and payment history) are permanently deleted. Some records may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form, or where retention is legally required (for example, tax records for payments).

6. Your rights

• Access and update your profile information at any time from your profile page.
• Request deletion of your account and data — from the mobile app Settings screen, from the website Profile page, or by emailing us. See our Account Deletion page.
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Withdraw consent by deleting your account.

7. Children's privacy

StockLearn Pro is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and the "last updated" date above will change.
